David Bagayegh Obituary

David Lete Bagayeghe was born to the families of Barile Blessing Tor and Dum Felo Bagayeghe on Sunday 7-24-2016 at the Dekalb Medical Hospital. He was the third child of the family having two siblings before him, Cherilene and Olivia, and was the only male child. He was loved and cherished by everyone who got in contact with him. He was affectionate and likable.

There are two important things about his birthday that we can easily recall and hold onto for the rest of our lives as his parents and family. It was an eventful day with the Deeper Life Ministry Crusade and a surprise baby shower organized by our home church. We crisscrossed and navigated the city to honor and to attend to all. David was born at about 7:21 pm. He was handsome from birth and was the greatest joy and happiness we could have ever asked for. David grew up well and healthy in his earlier years among family and the church. He had so much love for the outdoors and firefighters. His quiet and calm deposition endeared him to everyone he met and encountered during his short life on this earth. He was a proud student and a second grader at Rockbridge Elementary. He loved his school and his teachers, he was very smart, innocent, shy, and non-confrontational. His network of friends revolves around his sisters Cherilene and Olivia.

He grew up in church in a Christian family and showed interest in the drums. Like most Christian families, children are regarded as a gift from God, so a dedication service is required of the baby in the house of the Lord. David was already dedicated to God when he was 1. David was focused and attentive. He had ambition and the desire to fulfill. He wanted to be a patent rights attorney, to protect intellectual property. He spent some of his time displaying his talents and dexterity in arts, he always echoed in our concluding prayer “ The Lord is my rock and my hiding place in him I trust”(Psalm 18: 2-12). David’s favorite phrase was “ God lives in the sky and in my heart. ”

David died on Sunday 3-24-24, at Children Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston, even though it was officially registered Monday, he was 7. David is survived by and left behind his immediate family of two siblings, Cherilene and Olivia, and his Mother and Father Barile Blessing Tor and Dum Felo Bagayeghe. There are also host uncles, aunties, cousins, Grandma, and Grandpa in Rochester NY, New Hampshire, Georgia, and Nigeria.

Te daddy may your gentle soul continue to seek refuge in the Lord

Rest in peace
