David Wyatt Obituary

David Wyatt, 56, passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2026.

David Jackson Wyatt, MD, 56, passed away on June 21, 2026 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on September 19, 1969, in Crossville, Tennessee, David was known as the person everyone turned to for advice, support, and a listening ear. He was a devoted husband, beloved son, cherished brother, and the world’s greatest uncle. His kindness, wisdom, and wavering love touched countless lives. David is survived by his husband Mark; mother Jane Wyatt of Crossville, Tennessee; brothers Derek (Rebecca) Wyatt of Crossville, Tennessee; and Daren (Michele) Wyatt of Crossville, Tennessee; nephew Cooper (Kaitlyn) Wyatt of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; and niece Payton Wyatt of Chattanooga, Tennessee. He is preceded in death by his father Glenn Wyatt, Grandparents Andrew and Bertha Wyatt, and Charlie and Mollie Jackson. David graduated from the University of Tennessee Knoxville in 1991 and earned his medical degree from the East Tennessee State University Quillen College of Medicine in 1995. He completed his residency at Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center in Rome, Georgia. Following his residency, David moved to Atlanta, Georgia where he practiced family medicine for many years before joining Syneos Health. His career with Syneos Health later took him to Miami, Florida where he served as Vice President and Global Medical Lead Early Development. David and Mark were true partners in every sense of the word. Whether running their medical practice, Paces Laser MD, or operating Interiors Market in Atlanta, they could always be found side by side. Together they shared a passion for art collecting, home renovation, travel, and their three beloved French Bulldogs. A celebration of life will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, July 10, at Junction 7-70 located at 2963 Hwy 70 East, Crossville, Tennessee. David’s legacy of compassion, generosity, and love will live in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
