As the sun rose on December 31, 1981, Gerald Deaundre Walker was born to Gerald and Tonia Walker in Atlanta, Georgia. He found love in 2007 Debra Walker holding strong 18 years until God called him home on July 5, 2025
He was devoted big brother to Latonia Walker, Fredrick(Tamara)Walker, Antonio(Riley)Walker, Natasha Walker, Joshua( Alexandra) Walker, Tracia(Edward) Bell. Ebony Elexus Kendrick, Alonzo Kendrick, Step mother Ebony Walker, Eleven nephews and fifteen nieces. Three uncles, four Aunt.
Gerald was a football prayer for Washington High School until injuries stopped that dream, but his love for sport cause him to become a coach. He was a great fan of Pittsburgh Steelers. That’s why black and yellow were his favorite colors. He shown strength in his wisdom, guidance, counsel his love for his family and friends everyone simply called him “Coach” we had a natural presence and a smile that lifts a room. As a big brother his leadership inspirer all who came around him. His love of traveling kept him on cruise ships, A savvy business man. He love gathering his brothers and nephews to go fishing or watch a steelers game. With no kids of his own his love for other shine. He was a father to all those around him. And a mentor to many.
A Memorial Service will be held SATURDAY, July 19, 2025 at 3:00PM in our chapel.
