Jeannette Fontil Smith

Join us as we celebrate the life of Jeannette Fontil (Lavanette), who passed away peacefully on October 24, 2025, at the age of 77 in Lawrenceville GA. Born on July 4, 1948, in St. Louis du Nord, Haiti, Lavanette was a cherished mother, sister, and loyal friend. Her strength and resilience served as an inspiration to all who had the privilege of knowing her. 

Known for her vibrant spirit, she brought happiness through her dancing and nurturing demeanor, leaving behind countless treasured memories of joy and affection. 

A celebration of her life will be held on November 8, 2025, at 2 pm at James Reid Funeral Home, located at 1900 John Counter Blvd, Kingston, Ontario, Canada. 

Guests are invited to share anecdotes and recollections in tribute to Lavanette's enduring legacy.
