In Loving Memory of Lena Natasha Hardy
Sunrise: August 11, 1993 – Sunset: May 6, 2025
Lena Natasha Hardy, age 31, born in New York City and residing in Stone Mountain, Georgia, passed away unexpectedly on May 6, 2025.
Lena was a compassionate and vibrant soul whose kindness and individuality left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Her love for children inspired her to dream of becoming a pediatric nurse. A graduate of Tucker High School, she was pursuing an associate’s degree in medical Billing.
Lena was a free spirit, known for her vibrant energy, fierce independence, and ability to light up any room she entered. She had an adventurous heart that wasn’t afraid to take the scenic route—whether that meant a spontaneous road trip, dancing in the rain, or simply choosing joy in the face of life’s challenges. She believed in living authentically and fearlessly, often saying she was “following the wind” — a reflection of her openness to life, people, and new experiences. Lena encouraged others to be themselves without apology and to embrace the beauty of life’s unpredictability.
Her radiant smile, love for music and dancing, and generous heart brought warmth to all around her. At the time of her passing, Lena was on a spiritual journey, seeking a closer relationship with Christ.
Her lovely life will always be cherished by her beloved son, Gabriel Hardy of Stone Mountain, Georgia; her mother, Rose Hardy, and father, Sammie Hardy (deceased) of Stone Mountain, Georgia; siblings, Bobby Myers (Janice Myers) of Snellville, Georgia; Pamela Myers-Simmons (Dana Simmons) of Lithonia, Georgia; Tony Myers (survived by daughter-in-law Audrey Myers) of Brooklyn, New York; Demetria Hardy-Reid of Stone Mountain, Georgia; Zoie Myers of Stone Mountain, Georgia; and Simone Hardy of Atlanta, Georgia.
She also leaves behind her nieces and nephews: Saquette Johns (Norris Johns), Jalen Myers, Tony Myers Jr., Faith Simmons, Bianka Reid, Bobbi Myers, and Isaiah Hardy; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins; and many dear friends.
Lena's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Rest in peace, Lena.
We love you.
