Mary Francine Carter

Mary Theresa Francine Carter, born August 27, 1962 in Port Arthur, Texas, passed away on July 18, 2025 in Atlanta, Georgia, her home for almost 40 years. Mary graduated from Lincoln High School, Port Arthur, TX in 1980. From there, she went on to study nursing at Prairie View A & M University in Prairie View, Texas. Mary retired from Delta Airlines after 25 years of service.

Mary is preceded in death by parents Wilbert Fields Carter, Sr. and Geraldine Cecile Parker Carter, sister Janice Marie Carter Thomas and brother Cecil Gerard Carter.

Mary is survived by siblings Wilbert Fields Carter Jr., Karen Frances Carter, Denise Carter Bates, Kenneth Dwayne Carter, several nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends.

A private funeral service will be held and Mary's remains will be interred at Live Oak Cemetery, Port Arthur, Texas.
