Michael Anthony Vaughn, 63, passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2026.

We are deeply saddened to share the loss of Michael Anthony Vaughn, age 63 who passed on June 17, 2026, in Stone Mountain, GA. He was born in Clarksville, TN on August 11, 1962. 

Michael always made people laugh and feel welcome, wherever he was. He leaves behind wonderful memories for his family and friends.

Michael is predeceased by his parents, Alberta and Thomas J. Rogers.

Michael is survived by his wife of 39 years, Pixie (Owens) Vaughn, his son Marcus, and his daughter Sharnese (Michael, L. Roberts, Sr.), three grandsons: Michael L. Roberts, Jr., Prince Logan Roberts, Andrew Nicholas Roberts, and one granddaughter, Misty Vaughn.

He also leaves four brothers and four sisters: Franklin Powers, Thomas Powell (Jennifer), Mary McMillan, Sallie Baird, Brenda Olds, Stevie Vaughn (Patricia), Tony Rogers, (Marie), Sonya Rogers (Brandy), an uncle John Barton, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins, whom he truly loved.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday on June 27, 2026, at 11:00am, at Boston-Hill Funeral & Cremation, 5644 Memorial Dr, Stone Mountain, GA 30083. 

Burial will be held on Monday, June 29, 2026, at 11:00am, at the Georgia National Cemetery - Canton, 1080 Scott Hudgens Dr., Canton, GA 30114
