Rafaela Rodriguez, 92, passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2026.

Rafaela passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home in Decatur, Georgia. She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Louis E. Rodriguez.
Born in the vibrant town of Ciales, Puerto Rico, Rafaela's gentle kindness, unwavering faith in God, and abundant love touched everyone she knew, leaving behind a legacy of joyful memories. 

She is survived by her son, Louis H. Rodriguez of Decatur GA, who lovingly cared for her in her final years. Her daughters Roseann Copeland of Overland Park, KS, Ada Rodriguez Blazer of Brooklyn, NY, her devoted niece Diane Estner of Atlanta, GA., her cherished sister, Ramona Figueroa of Tamarac, Florida, her 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and one on the way.

Rafaela will be placed with her husband, in her final resting place at Forest Lawn Gardens in Pompano Beach, February 20, 2026

She will be deeply missed but forever remembered in our hearts.

A private memorial celebration will be held in Decatur at a later date.
