Robin Dunn

Robin Anne Ramsey Dunn departed this life on October 31, 2025.

Robin was born on February 29, 1952 in Atlanta, GA. She graduated from Northside High School and attended Spelman College and Wells College. She received a business certificate from Burrell Business College. She previously married Lawrence Davis, Jr. in 1971 and to that union one child was born. She married Darryl A. Dunn in 1992.

Robin had a lovely soprano voice and sang in both the church choir and as part of an adult group. She won trophies for roller skating and skate dancing. She had a rich and varied work history, most notably as a Public Safety Officer at Duke University in Durham, NC; a bookkeeper for Montgomery Ward; and a 911 dispatcher for the city of East Point, GA.

Robin was known for her big smile and positive attitude. She enjoyed meeting people, crocheting, playing Spades, and watching Grey's Anatomy. In her last year of life she was active in Residents Council at the Buckhead Center.

Robin leaves behnid her only child, Tiffany Davis of Columbia, MD; husband Darryl A. Dunn of Atlanta, GA; and a host of family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Rev. John W. and Esther Ramsey, and sisters Stephanie Ramsey and Gloria Bradford.
