Robyn Elaine Branham, age 64, of Atlanta, Georgia, passed away on Monday, February 2, 2026.
She was born on July 25, 1961, in Detroit, Michigan, to Mildred Branham and William Branham, both of whom preceded her in death. Robyn later made her home in Nashville, Tennessee then Atlanta, Georgia, where she spent her most recent years surrounded by family and loved ones.
Robyn worked for many years as a Logistics Coordinator and Customer Service Representative for several prominent companies, earning respect for her dedication, professionalism, and strong work ethic. Above all else, she was an outstanding mother who devoted her life to her children and family. She was widely known for creating unforgettable memories, often shared through great family stories and comical accounts of her life. A true life of the party, Robyn brought laughter, warmth, and joy wherever she went. She instilled strong values in her children, emphasizing ethics, morality, and the importance of family.
She is survived by her son, Devin Samarasinghe; her daughter, Sierra Elaine Flowers; her Aunt Ruth Abernathy; her sister, Sumatra Drayton (Alonzo); her brother, William Branham Jr.; her grandchildren, Ari Elaine Lambirth-Samarasinghe, Zion Flanagan-Samarasinghe, and Devin Sabali Samarasinghe; her former husband and friend, Ajit Samarasinghe, and his wife, Darlene and their sons, Jahlik Samarasinghe, Demarkus Thomas and Kenson Thomas as well as a host of beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, and close friends.
In accordance with her wishes, no public services will be held. A private memorial will be conducted with immediate family.
